winter camping - these are the fundamentals you should know

The first thing that makes hiking more than just exercise is the fact that hiking takes place in nature. As night falls and darkness covers the surroundings, a good bright fire is the most important thing for warmth and guidance.

One of the reasons many people starting getting into the great outdoors is to get some physical activity. Times when the bulb of your flashlight dies out, or the spring inside the flashlight falls out and gets lost while you were changing the batteries, seem to happen in the worst times. Camping, especially if it is accompanied by trekking and other adventure sport, can be pretty tiring and you will want to rest your weary bones at the end of the day so don't forget your sleeping bag.

Some lanterns have focused and well adjusted illumination from a much lesser light source compared to a big bonfire. With hiking, comfort really isn t a luxury.

Most of the climbing facilities serve dual purposes. A great deal of body heat can be lost through an uncovered head. It may be a good idea to hire a mountain guide if you are a beginner.

All in all, try to ensure you are well prepared, avoid solo trips the first time, check all your equipment before you leave and get some first aid training. If you are interested in mountain climbing, it is definitely something people everywhere will tell you is worth pursuing!
