greatland tent the nuts and bolts

Mountain climbing locations vary in altitude but many of them are in of sub zero temperatures. You may be a photographer, a nature love, or just trying to get away from busy hectic city life for a while.

One of the most common problems that campers face is being unprepared for changing climactic conditions, consequently being ill-equipped with proper clothing and equipment for storms, sudden shifts in temperatures, wind chill factors and heavy rains. There are definite differences in the equipment used for ice climbing. Remember, you will be traveling over boulders and other rough surfaces at times and want to be able to press off the ground with confidence that your boots will provide the right amount of support.

To awaken to birds chirping and the sun rising over a misty horizon is incredible. Always wear woolen socks to keep the feet dry and comfortable. A tent which refuses to stay up due to some flaw is not going to be of much help to you and neither is a flashlight with no batteries or a first aid kit with outdated medicine.

The wrong boots can allow moisture to build-up or let in unbearable heat or cold. There is an entire underground for climbers and it is a great way to meet new friends with similar insane interests. Some lanterns are designed so that mosquitoes and other insects are instantly repelled instead of being attracted to the light source.

Read a good book with the wind whispering through the leaves. Make sure you always check your equipment.
